getting cold at the cottage

Thanks to my dear friend Cadell (or at least I have decided to blame him), I came down with a nasty cold thanksgiving weekend. I wasn’t much use at the cottage, though if you have to be sick somewhere, being at the cottage (and being able to play the “sick” card to get out of doing work) is better than anywhere else. I spent a lot of time reading.

This was my view while I finished Gaimen’s American Gods – a good book.

I finally got some photos of frankie swimming. This is the first summer since I’ve had him that he spent any amount of time in the water. Now he’ll spend hours hunting all the fish
